Rainbird 5000 Nozzle Chart - Realizing this may be too many, my hope is that i can use the on/off feature of the rainbird 5000+ heads to selectively turn off heads as necessary to improve pressure/flow to those heads that are on. The problem seems to be water flowing out of the outer casing… As of this year, there is a change in the 5000 heads that may or may not become an issue over time. I curently use hunter spray nozzle.i was reading about the rain bird u series nozzle.are they better than hunter as far as spray uniformity.can i use them on my hunter srs head.what do you guys think. I measured water pressure at 35psi at the spigot.… My psi is about 50 and 16 gpm.
My psi is about 50 and 16 gpm. That way each nozzle is getting the same pressure. I suspect it won't, but other installers might want to pass up on the 5000 until things shake out. So, i got 2 rainbird 5000's and replaced them. I don't use hunter rotary nozzles.

I'm Considering Connecting These Rotors Via The 3/4 Side Inlet With The 12 Hunter Swing Joint.
